I just hope after Republicans lose this November they go back to nominating regular ass people.
Like, in the 2012 election, of COURSE i wanted Obama to win. But i didn’t feel like the world and democracy as we know it would crumble if Mitt Romney won. I want us to get back to THAT.

@kob I hope the same, but think it's unlikely the GOP can ever recover. The nation needs a conservative party, but as Kinzinger pointed out at the DNC, the Republican party is NOT conservative.
Too many real conservatives have been purged, and too many cult members put in positions of power. I think it will have to be a new party, perhaps founded by Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush...
