A book to read: The Circle - Dave Eggers
I listened to the (well produced) audiobook. I see it was made into a (poorly rated) movie.
First I thought it was about Silicon Valley. I recognized my old company Sun Microsystems, as striving not just to make money but also to serve the community and make the world better. Did he model Circle on Apple or Google? Then I thought it was a utopian novel as Circle surpassed all those companies and solved real world problems. (mild spoiler follows)
