@Nick_Searles I dislike Musk intensely, but this is hardly news. Every EV has faced this for over a decade. The same range inaccuracy holds for gas cars, which also cannot predict how you're going to drive, etc. Nobody cared because they have lots of range and ubiquitous refilling points. Tesla suffers less than other EVs because they pad the range numbers displayed. They could make the "problem" disappear by padding more. Then folks would complain about more range than shown.
