@ecksmc I used to watch RT on cable occasionally, along with France 24, BBC, Deutsch Welle, and CBC. I wanted to hear other sides of stories and didn't accept that a full picture came from watching left wing US media plus right wing US media.
But RT isn't journalism with a Russian bias as I thought. It's propaganda and active GRU disinformation. And the distinction between US conservative media and authoritarian propaganda is diminishing.
@walterbays i was same used to get RT here in Scotland on Freeview TV until the Ukrainian war started
funnily enough fox news got banned in UK before RT did which i also watched on occasions
fully agree with you on watching/reading other media than media i agree with it helps in keeping an open mind 😏 that and FOMO 😂😆
