At a fourths of July BBQ. So far there is one altered American flag with the Green line and one thin blue line shirt but with a buffalo.

My opinion, these altered flags are very disrespectful of our Nation's Flag and very unpatriotic.

Well, one can also see it as a tribute to our flag. They've taken a black and white version of the flag and put in a meaningful stripe for their cause or organization. I don't see that as being disrespectful to our flag.
They haven't taken a real flag and defaced it.
I bet there would be a lot of howling if that one stripe showed a spectrum of rainbow colors, though. 😉
