Overheard co-workers yesterday saying they “can’t wait for Musk to start firing people in Federal jobs.”
So they’re rooting for unemployment to go up?
It’s insane how there is no concept of the interconnectedness of our economy.
Unemployed people do not have money to patronize other businesses. It’s like wtf?!

The way they see it, Federal jobs are paid by the government--therefore are stealing money (taxes) from *real* working folk.
