I promise this story about fonts is interesting
(especially if you're a font geek)

To be fair, I couldn't tell because I'm a massive font geek.
@tyghebright Ooooh! Thank you, Fellow Font Geek!
@tyghebright I didn’t realize I was a font geek til now - thanks for posting! :)
@tyghebright
While I was in prison, I bought a game for our super-lame locked down tablets called "Type:Rider".
It's a cute little puzzler/adventure where you play umlauts rolling about and discovering all the letters (& a couple bits of punctuation) of a particular typeface each level. As you progress, you unlock lovely little historical vignettes teaching the history of typefaces. One of my favorite games I ever wasted money on.
What fun!
@tyghebright Font-astic article!🌹
Video not only about typeface & fonts (learned that difference too) but lots of history & information about other stuff. For example, didn't know Comic Sans is a good one to use for Dyslexic folks.
Thanks; Love the education I always get here❤️
@tyghebright
I can't paint or draw, but in high school I got interested in designing fonts. I'd doodle ideas for fonts on bookcovers and around class notes. I majored in mechanical drawing the first time I went to college because that's the closest thing to artistic creativy I can manage.
Thanks for the link.
