92/91 on a Wednesday and after starting a new, rather rigorous exercise schedule is something even I am impressed with. Not to mention another perfect midpoint. My sleep was extraordinary last night, over optimal.
I don't normally have such high readiness when putting my body through hours of exercise each day. The stress response is usually quite high and it causes my numbers to be off especially heart rate and recovery.
Not anymore I guess 👍🏾

@thewebrecluse This is revelatory. I understand the sleep hot-sleep not issue. But one’s body having all that proprioceptive feedback all night? Could be a game changer.
If I can’t find my weighted blanket, I’ll prolly get another one but in minimal weight, since rn, it hurts to turn over - wakes me up.
Thank you for sharing your ongoing journey. You’re an inspiration. 💛
@ATXJane I don't like the trade off psychologically ... but physically and scientifically its BETTER for your body to be warmer at night which I already know and have tested and confirmed for my body but I personally don't like the feeling of being hot or waking up sweating etc. But if I can repeat these benefits then I will get over what I "don't like" and focus on what my body needs. I'll keep testing and see.
That’s interesting. I had read that a cooler room at night was more restful. Went through a bout of night sweats/wet hair last night.
I admire that you find a way through it: “I will get over what I ‘don’t like’ and focus on what my body needs. I’ll keep testing and see.”
Please keep me up with your results. You method & tenacity are admirable!
@ATXJane When you have #chronicpain it is better to have a warmer body temp while sleeping since your body cools down at night and it can increase the thickness of the synovial fluid (joint fluid) and cause even more pain. It is why a lot of people with mctd (mixed connective tissue disease) like myself often wake up in pain.
@ATXJane as with everything in life the best path forward is rarely about what a person prefers. Individual preference is, again, how we got into the mess we're in now. Selfness is about being the best you can be for the sake of others, not just for yourself. Figuring out your needs mentally, physically, and spiritually means that you move towards being a whole person but in general we were not put here to exist solely for ourselves. What is needed is always more important than what is wanted.
