And on that note, it's time for me to retire to bed and settle in for the last 5 chapters of "A Dark and Drowning Tide" ... I really have enjoyed this book more than I expected.

I chose it simply because it is narrated by Saskia Maarleveld, which is usually how I choose books (not by plot) and she's done an amazing job with the characters.

Hopefully I won't fall asleep again before I can find out how it all ends 🤣

Next in my audible queue is "Strange Beasts" by Susan J. Morris, narrated by another favorite person of mine, Emily Woo Zeller.

The description, coupled with Emily who is epic, were enough to grab my attention.
