Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku is a new anime based on a brutally nuts manga about underground high stakes #mahjong games. As a mahjong player I have to say this is some spicy and epic mahjong and I love this concept.
The first episode was NOTHING like #Kakegurui which was disturbing and wild and psychologically damaging 🤣 But I have no idea where this is going. It's not an anime I imagined would ever be made but here we are 🤣
When they start betting human organs I'm there 👍🏾
I will say that you kinda have to know how to play mahjong to understand what is happening and understand the tension and the plays. Similar to Shion no Ou ... understanding how shogi is played and why things are unfolding like they are is key to being able to follow the suspense.
