When it comes to gaming, especially gaming as #MediaTherapy, the point is to push out of your comfort zone ... to actually take on roles that scare you or intimidate you and find your weakness. With @IronButterfly it's always such deep levels of self doubt and self depreciation which also exists in her life as well. You cannot ascend from weakness without challenging yourself and seeing what you are truly capable of; without pushing past insecurities and false ideas about your own capabilities.
@thewebrecluse I definitely didn't think I could do it but you helped walk me through it so thanks! I definitely have a lot of false ideas about my capabilities in games and out so having this as another example of an accomplishment is pretty cool 😎 I did not cry at all and didn't get mad or frustrated which is new as you know 🙃 I had 'less fun' for a little bit there but we did it!!! ♥️
Telling yourself "I can't" or "I'll never be good enough" and things like that before even making an ATTEMPT at something is the kind of thinking that will always hold you back from any chance of success.
You cannot expect to simply be good at everything without working hard, failing, and learning from your mistakes. That is how learning happens. If you're afraid to fail, if you have a weird idea of what failing means, then you'll never try.
Mistakes are VALUABLE and NECESSARY for evolution.
