Related to what I reposted a few moments ago ... if you constantly feel the need to jump into people's feeds to say negative things to them or find yourself triggered by things other people post ... perhaps you need to rebalance your feed and curate it to better reflect the kind of emotions you prefer to feel. CoSo has a lot of great tools that allow for that kind of deep customization. If you're angered by things you see ... use the tools available instead of lashing out at others.
Remember there is a reason for your triggers. That reason doesn't always necessarily mean there is something wrong with YOU.
It could mean you are more sensitive to energy, to people from an empathic sense or a neurodivergent sense.
A trigger is a warning. A trigger is something that lets you know there is something you need to pay attention to. It could be related to a trauma, it could also just be your unique ability to read things, situations, and people.
You're not broken.

If you happen to be emotionally dysregulated for whatever reason or in the midst of healing work, a trigger COULD potentially cause you to have a reaction that is more powerful, more overwhelming, more personal than others. But that trigger is there to help protect you and help you know what you need to pay special attention to.
Triggers are doing a specific job FOR YOU, not AGAINST you.
Listen to them, respect them, and analyze them in relation to what you may need to do for yourself.
@thewebrecluse I have always tended to think of my triggers as burnt insulation, broken wiring.
This is a great alternative way to look at such things. I am going to be thinking about this all day now.
Thank you!

Triggers aren't bad things. Triggers are our mind and body telling us that something is wrong ... that something needs to be addressed inside and sometimes outside of us.
Triggers are a warning system that shouldn't be ignored or considered some kind of weakness. Pay attention to your triggers and understand them and what they mean.
If you are triggered there is a reason, a good one probably too, don't ignore that.
Maybe it's your feed. Maybe it needs a change. Maybe YOU do.
