Blackdot’s device uses a small number of concealed test dots to “learn” the client’s skin characteristics.

The test dots are compared against Blackdot's skin database to determine which settings (number of punctures and puncture depth) will yield the perfect black dot for that client’s preferred tattoo location.

Paired with a dedication to top-tier customer service, the result is a fast, accurate tattooing experience with minimal discomfort.

I hate to sound like a traditionalist ... but I am wondering what is the point of getting a PAINLESS tattoo and what is tattoo art WITHOUT the actual human artist who creates it by hand on your body?

Getting a tattoo is ... different for everyone but in a traditional sense a rite of passage, a representation of something deeper ...

I dunno ... something about it doesn't sit right with me and I LOVE and embrace almost all tech. This just ... feels off.

I can't put it into words.

The tech is amazing and I love the idea of artists getting compensated for their ARTWORK of course but you're removing the tattoo artist and making tattoos just about the art in a remote sense. Like ... why would you want the EXACT, literally EXACT tat that someone else has? Machine made ... it loses something so deeply a part of what getting a tattoo is all about.

I dunno ... I can't express this well at all ...
