The remarkable atmosphere of Dartmoor’s forests are captured by Devon-based photographer Neil Burnell.
Burnell was inspired as a child by a visit to Wistman’s Wood, a remote, upland area of old, gnarled oak.

These images remind me SO much of scenes from Jordskott and the haunting beauty of The Kettering Incident which was one of the first televisions series allowed to be filmed in Tasmania.
