Disney has revealed a teaser trailer for a new horror thriller series called Connect made for Disney+ Korea. Legendary Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike directs this series which is adapted from the manga.

In the series a man is kidnapped and one of his eyes is removed by a gang of organ hunters. The eye is then transplanted into the body of a serial killer.

Kim Hye-Jun is in this which means ... HELL F-ING YES.

The upcoming original Disney+ “Connect” is a drama based on a webtoon of the same name that tells the story of a new race with an immortal body known as “Connect.”

When Jung Hae In gets kidnapped by organ hunters and loses one of his eyes, he finds out that it's been transplanted to a serial killer

“Connect” has garnered tons of global popularity as it is the first Korean project by Takashi Miike and was invited to the 27th Busan International Film Festival.

On Disney+ in December.

@mcfate Yeah Takashi Miike doing a Korean drama is not something I'd ever imagine happening ...

@thewebrecluse

That man just LOVES to piss people off, though.

I don't know if you were aware of the fracas over the "Western Django Sukiyaki" posters, featuring a corpse hanging from a torii, but there sure WAS one.

@mcfate I doubt that is his intention here. He's already done some work in the Korean market and he was pretty pleased with it. It makes sense to me that he would want to keep doing more given how good the reception was.
