The season 5 scene of #Lost where Jack's wondering why Sawyer is just "reading a book" and Sawyer asks him if it's a relief knowing that he doesn't have to make decisions anymore... One of my favorite scenes of this show. The carefree Jack that follows is the Jack I actually like.
It also lifted that weight off of him, so later he could be ready to *accept* the role of leader, instead of it just being thrust upon him. It was by choice and not a sense of duty.
