What if I told you there was a version of Pearl Jam's Ten where you could audibly understand every word out of Eddie's mouth even if you didn't know the lyrics already...

@stueytheround They had a more recent producer remix and master the album for a deluxe edition. They were never happy with the original (record-label-forced production) and wanted it to better represent their sound. (Similar to the Beatles un-Spectoring Let It Be) It's the only version of Ten I listen to anymore, because the original always bothered me.

@stueytheround It's amazing what removing 40 layers of reverb can do to a song. Also a great example of what the role of mixer and producer can really do for or against a band's work.

@theunabeefer Thanks for this info.
I am going to see if Prime has it in their "UHD" section.

@stueytheround I believe they do. I was listening to it on my Prime Music app, and had to go find it on YouTube to share, because it's generally easier to share from there to people.
The band and most of the fanbase (the ones who don't just listen to Ten lol) prefer the Redux version. You can hear the bass and kick drum, and literally everything is more defined.

Listening to Jeremy currently and it could fit on Yield without anyone noticing the difference.
