Today I am #grateful for PayDay candy bars. Not as good as Butterfingers, but they do hit the spot for crunchy and sweet.

Baby Ruth's are pretty good. But so are butterfingers and paydays. Haven't had one of any in a long time.
@arthurpendragon: Baby Ruths and Snickers were my go-to as a kid, alongside Paydays. Butterfingers were big popular and often out of stock at the drug store and convenience stores.
I couldn't figure out how I missed out on such deliciousness growing up, but then I remembered that I had siblings who were highly allergic to nuts & other such ingredients. Hershey's plain chocolate, 3 Musketeers, Milkyway, Kisses, & Tootsie Rolls were the only ones allowed in the house. Mom ate the Musketeers and the Kisses, so Milkyway was as fancy as we got.

Really? I don't recall ever having a Baby Ruth. Will have to try one.
