: I never saw this adaptation, but one of my old bosses, now retired, at an ad agency in Charlotte told me I was like that when I was his Executive Assistant. He was a good dude, and it was a good company, and I was a Good Company Man when I was in those sitches.

Note: Good Company Man never meant go along with shady,. illegal, unethical, and other such bullshit. The good jobs and coworkers didn't much ever do that shit. Thank goodness, and yeah, I walked out of a handful of jobs because the bosses or coworkers were shitheels.
