@GrandmaJ @thedisasterautist Because everything gets tracked authors, genres, mood, pace, Books, pages, minutes listen, story graph puts them in colorful pie charts. I really wish for trope tracking might work on using tags for this in 2025.
@thedisasterautist

@thedisasterautist Thank you for sharing this alternative to Goodreads!
@thedisasterautist bezos owns goodreads? fuck.
@singlemaltgirl
Yeah, it's integrated with Amazon.
@Helical_Code i can't remember why i signed up for goodreads. i don't actually track my reading there. but i think it was something about wanting to see reviews or something related to a book club thing i was doing. now i have to figure out how to close that mofo. @thedisasterautist
@singlemaltgirl
We're in roughly the same basket!
What I really want is to discuss books with people. Right now, I'm reading The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store. It's really good, and there's so much food for thought.
@Helical_Code are they fiction or non fiction? @thedisasterautist
@singlemaltgirl
My current read is a work of fiction my James McBride.

@thedisasterautist it’s also a black owned company!
@thedisasterautist I just keep a diary of all books read. I’ve done that for years and have several diaries. I also list books I’ve read on a thread on Paperback Swap. I never did Bookreads. What exactly is the benefit? Not being snarky. I’m curious. Thanks.
