: Over years past when Carlin pointed all this bullshit English-language "evolution", he got laughs and was said to be insightful and provocative. When I pointed it out I was told I didn't know what I was talking about and/or "that's just how it goes" and was told to stop being a pedant (or a gatekeeper).
