: Barring bad luck, the door's going into the basement sometimes today. There's a storeroom under the porch, and there's a door to it that lets the outside air/humidity into the basement. I can't have that humidity down there, though, not when it gets up to 70%-80% daily six or seven months out of the year. Hence the door. (Nobody knows why the original door was removed decades ago or where it ever went.)
