: I gotta go out and scrub the deck today and see how much of the mold I can get rid of. My late father had this huge deck build, and about one-third gets nearly covered by a fucking tree from spring through summer. He used to pay some good ol' boy $250 to pressure wash it, but I don't have that kinda cash to waste. (He did, though, even though it wasn't his to waste.) That said, I'm glad to have the physical activity, something the dead guy was himself allergic to.
@Usama_Backhair: It isn't black mold or hazardous mold. It's just wet mold from the deck being under a tree. Yes, I'm using a killer with a 2-3 week "mold shield".

Good 👍
That’ll keep you protected, those spores are nasty 😷 even for the other ones
@thedisasterautist you can rent a pressure washer … good luck.
@Museek: I don't have the outdoor spigot access to use a pressure washer. The good ol' boy had the tank and air pump on a dolly behind his truck.
@thedisasterautist you can also use an indoor faucet and a hose. You might need an adaptor
for your hose from the hardware store.. just making suggestions because that sounds like back aching work. But also you don’t want to breathe those mold spores in once you stir them
@thedisasterautist
Omg, me too. I’m using Cabot wood cleaner, it’s stinky but you can avoid exposing yourself to the mold spores so I decided to, are you using a mold killer?
