1/2: When folks/groups identify themselves by who they are and what they do, they do really, really well. When all they do to identify themselves is to tell who they are not and what they won't do, they do poorly... in the long haul, though in the short haul they will make headway, because shit-stirrers get attention from people who gather around to find out what the stink is.
The hazard with the former is that if/when they lie, they're fucked. The latter get fucked because of their shit.
