1/2: Work in yonder basement will resume today. Trash and Recycling are picked up tomorrow, and I hope to have the lower quarters there 90% cleared and cleaned out and the stuff gone tomorrow.
There is reading to be done today, as indeed there is always. I'm not too sure about the current tome. It's a horror novel, of course, but fortysomething pages in at this point it kinda seems like the author is trying way, way too hard to be graphic and "edgy". 2/2: ...another 40-60 pages, I'm gonna have to call it a day and then try to sell the book and get a few bucks back. It's a hardcover I paid $24.99 for. I'd like to get at least $10 for it.
If I have to start reading another tome today, I have plenty from which to choose. I've a few hundred TBR volumes waiting on mah shelves and in boxes.
@thedisasterautist that’s a bummer to spend that much and then have it just be meh. I will be finishing the book I’ve been working on for awhile today finally. My to-read shelf is getting rather full since I have been stuck on this one book for so long. (Nonfiction so there hasn’t been motivation to see how the story ends!)
