People behave different when they think they're anonymous, that they're safe in sympathetic company, and/or that nobody's paying attention. That's when they often reveal more than they think they do.

He was a voluntary Trump rally attendee; I would have low expectations even for the best of them.
It still sucks that he got shot by a twenty-year-old gun nut.
