: I am likely very shortly to receive bad news. I say this because family members have called to say hi, to check in and see how things are going. I’m almost invariably the last to find out things, and a spate of check-ins usually precedes letdowns and bad news. I wonder what it’s going to be. There’s a good chance it’s something I expressed concern over at one or various points over the years but was told I didn’t know what I was talking about.
