: Those who flirt with me usually have no idea how direct they need to be. -- I ran across this text/meme years ago and felt both seen and personally attacked. To a one, every women I've ever dated has wound up resorting to just up and kissing me, body tackling me, or asking "What does a girl have to do to get you to see she wants you?" I understand that's how most neurotypicals and no small amount of autistic do that sort of thing socially, an surface informal but conventionally quite formal do-si-do around things, especially uncertain or "delicate" things like sex, attraction, love, and borrowing money, to name a few.
