Amazing that this was published in 2016. It's like they knew things in America were about to get so bad, we'd struggle to find swear words strong enough to describe them. 😂

@VaGyver: America's (and every other nation's problems" have been being seen coming down the pike each year for decades. The fundamental problem is always the popular resistance to doing anything about them because doing so would be embarrassing, expensive AF, and worst of all... Olympically difficult and require patience and determination over the course of yers and years. Also, it would be unprofitable to LOTS of people and not just in America or whatever nation being addressed.

@VaGyver: America's woes were predicted very broadly by, if I remember correctly, Alexis de Tocqueville... as well as multiple founders of the young democratic republic and its then-critics. That said, nobody knew how practically to solve them.

More recently, going back only to the 1950s and onward, America's path, not to mention the world's, was quite clearly predicted by people all over the world and even published. Most people handwaved it all away, of course. 🤷‍♂️
