I've went round and round with the clinicians and shrinks I know about this for a long time and finally got them to understand. They don't write the textbooks and such, but it's something, I reckon. My therapist and shrink told me I genuinely changed their minds and their approaches to working with autistics. (It was a struggle and sometimes got quite heated.)
