I made a BABY DRAGON!!!! I finally got the first ever not one problem print from the resin printer.
@Brisse I've been offline, heads-down for the last week and just popped in to see if you had posted any print pix. Good timing! Is this off the Prusa or the other one? Either way, glad to see you are up and running! Nice dragon, by the way. Watch that it doesn't burn the place down accidentally.
@tdotrob The resin printer! I just got the Prusa fixed yesterday though! Who knew the secret to the E3D V6 working correctly was Thermal Paste! 😂😂😂 I tried to print with it today and it was doing fine till about 20% through and then the PLA separated from the bed. But it was doing beautifully till then.
@tdotrob I am DEFINITELY getting a benchy boat ⛵ off the Prusa soon though. 😂 I probably need to readjust the Z height or find a way to make the bed a little more sticky. 🤔 Cleaning it again didn't help.
@Brisse I use the Pretty Print profiles with great results on PLA and ABS. Among other things, they adjust the bed temperature and it seems to work better. Maybe give it a try?

@tdotrob and by that I mean it now has a cartridge thermistor and a sock on the brand new block. 🥰
@Brisse Should be worth it, at least I hope so. As a rule the MK3S are real workhorses once they get dialed in. Did I mention don't use acetone on the spring-steel bed? 91% IPA before every print job works for me. I'm honestly surprised you had a problem with bed separation as it's been reliable for me. Curious how it goes as you work through the issues.
@tdotrob Probably will try that. I just used the Prusa slicer defaults today. It took me a while to get it fixed because the Heatbreak was fully clogged, and after I replaced that the thermistor and heater cartridge wires broke, and I had to replaced them, but then the E3D V6 suffers from a heat creep problem without thermal paste on the heatbreak (which I didn't know till I read it on the Prusa forums)... So it technically got a few minor upgrades in the process 😂
