@mcfate Today, characterizing Harris as being evasive on policy: the example the reporter gave was in re: codifying Roe - the reporter tried to reframe the question to the filibuster, which Harris said was irrelevant because they didn't have the votes either way. KH's point was "give me the the votes in the Senate to codify reproductive rights," but the reporter called her evasive for not following the reporter's desired shift to the filibuster, and the anchor agreed (in a very, "oh my" tone).
@mcfate "Vague or evasive on policy" were the words the reporter and anchor used to characterize H in their story about the campaign - reporter offered quoted anecdote as an example to her point. This PM on ATC. I was in the car doing errands on a break, so pls pardon if I don't have more specific references in this case. My initial post has more to do with my perception of the general tone of reportage (did my best to provide example on request) Your experience/perception may vary! Just my POV
