I'm not making any inferences, but I couldn't help but notice today on NPR that there was some talk of gas prices "Coming down" but no mention of the Biden Administration beginning to sell a million gallons from the NE gas reserves into the market over several weeks starting 5/21 in an effort to...Bring down gas prices. Odd, though. 🤷‍♂️

@Ironworker229 NPR and related distributors' various financial shows never mention corporate greed, either.
I find them a disservice.

@t_heislen I agree with your sentiment, but maybe not "Never" I've heard a few greedflation and shrinkflation stories on NPR over the last several months. Nowhere near as prominent a topic as it should be, though! The record corporate profits during this period of "Inflation" should be front page and top story with regularity.

@Ironworker229 In the "regular" news/information shows, yes, and yes, not enough emphasis. I was thinking more of the financial shows like "Marketplace" that purport to explain the mysteries of the financial world to us poor unwashed...

@t_heislen Ah, yes. Gotcha! I'm usually off the road by the time Marketplace comes on, so it's been a while since I listened.
