Did you ever stare at a word and think that you have suddenly been transported to a bizarre universe?
"Choir"
Shouldn't it be "quier"
or "Kwire"
If you look at the spelling of that word, it's hard to pronounce phonetically.
Makes my head explode.

@swinemiester The words used to be pronouced differently, too. Like the ough in things like through and though used to be more like the scottish ch/gh.
