“What are the rising things that people are Googling along with Donald Trump’s name? It’s not what Donald Trump’s campaign would necessarily want, right? It’s ‘eating pets,’ it’s ‘eating dogs,’ it’s ‘eating cats.’ Obviously, that was Donald Trump’s moment on the debate stage. Of course, that’s a Fugazi story. It’s not.”
Why is this bad? It’s short, easy to remember and devastating to his campaign. And, worse, easily debunked.
This is an Cat 5 hurricane; an earthquake; a volcanic disaster…
…of epic proportions. The Trump Campaign would have to spend MONTHS combating this misinformation coming out of the EX-President’s mouth.
But it gets worse.
Trump has been dropping these kinds of lies during his rallies and reporters have either been sane washing them or blew them off as “Trump being Trump” (whatever the fuck that means).
But if he lies about that, is he lying about his economic plan?
Of course he is!
He is an unreliable candidate. His presidency gave you all the proof.
“COVID will just disappear” while Americans died?!?!
The man is a sociopath. He cares nothing about the greater good. We have a current President who is doing good work and the MSM can’t even point that out.
They want a crazy sociopath back in office to generate headlines, EVEN IF it is the end of democracy as we know it.
Short term profits over the destruction of our country. That is how it is rationalized. I have seen the top echelons of business do this.
@feloneouscat My only quibble with this: I'm not sure he legitimately knows how to look up to anyone.
If he looks up to anyone, it's violent, authoritarian dictators, and that to me is the single most dangerous thing about him.
Everything else is general incompetence, wilful ignorance and bluster.
Stirring up zeal for violent supremacism is bad news for the world.
