@EnochianEntropy boooooo
@Thumprhare Unfiltered Enoch Time is an unpleasant time for both Enoch and people around Enoch.
@EnochianEntropy given recent eventsâŠsometimes you just need to vent
@Thumprhare Like I said, people have the right to be upset, but they shouldnât make themselves suffer about things that havenât happened yet - itâs a hairshirt they donât need to put on yet and it just fatigues you so that either when the thing happens it makes it even worse or you ignore it because you wore yourself out.
@EnochianEntropy @Thumprhare I had a counselor who says, "Don't borrow sorrow from tomorrow."
@pr10n @Thumprhare Borrow? Hell, youâre full on making new sorrow. Youâre still gonna feel it tomorrow anyway.
Might as well âhave an accidentâ and be happy today and have your sorrow tomorrow.
Like the rhyming, though. Good saying.
@EnochianEntropy @pr10n I dunno, seems when you have experienced have your autonomy awayâor some related traumaâitâs going to trigger the memory and bring it up.
Just move on is your wayâŠ
I am a plan for 6 different scenarios person.
I know a lot of folks that are just in denial about the whole situation
@Thumprhare @EnochianEntropy @pr10n
"Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
"... do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Some dude from Nazareth, probably.
@Thumprhare
You're probably right.
Worry is fear of what hasn't happened yet and if one is part of the privileged sectors, you probably feel there's nothing to fear or worry about.
Worry is a precursor to catastrophisimg and that leads to panic, often, and we *do* need to avoid panic.
Panic prevents clear thinking and planning.
And oh boy does some planning need to happen!
