My old travel buddy and I lived in Silicon Valley, about 90 minutes north of Hollister. We're on a trip in the southwest, and stop by a diner for lunch. Young waitress had a Hollister shirt on!
So, we ask, "cool, are you from Hollister?" She looks at us like we're very silly olds, and replies "What? It's a BRAND!".
Yes, yes it was. Hadn't seen it at home, but indeed, it was a teen "fashion" brand.
Everything dear to us *will* be merchandised, eh? 😅
