1st attempt at candle making today. I'm planning on giving them as Christmas presents so lots of practice needed.
@stueytheround what type of wax are you using?
@redenigma I did consider real beeswax, but as a total beginner, I decided on the less expensive option.
I have a set of 20 liquid wax dyes to play with too, and a bottle each of lavender and orange essential oils. It's going to be lots of fun. 😁
@stueytheround i used to mix beeswax & paraffin. maybe you can do that with soy too. you get some of the nice beeswax smell, but it goes further. dyes are fun
@stueytheround i used to make paraffin candles. there wasn't soy wax in the old days ;)
