All this talk about God loving the felon so much he saved him from being assassinated. I would like someone to ask the felon and his minions if that means God hated his supporter that was killed, who, btw
they never talk about.
I'm not super religious. I believe the universe controls things more than a "God". But, if I did believe in God, it definitely wouldn't be a maga God that "saved" a man who uses the Bible as a prop, never goes to church, and constantly lies and deceives people.

@homebird If it's any comfort, sickness is *nobody's* fault.
John 9:1-3 NIVUK
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.'
I guarantee nobody who behaves as these people do are even *aware* of it.
@stueytheround @JoyfullyDazed Again though, that gives me problems. "That happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." Now I believe in God, but that poor man... he had to be like that for God to show the world he can work a miracle? Doesn't seem fair.
I agree, Stuey. Babies are born sick, children get sick, and definitely not bc they sinned or deserve it. Nobody deserves it.
I've had medical problems since I was 17. I have a rare autoimmune disorder that doctors really knew nothing about. I have never said why me and I hate pity. As one of my doctors said to me, because of you, we can help so many people. That's all I ever wanted. I didn't get sick bc I sinned. I got sick, that's it. Better me than someone else.
@stueytheround @JoyfullyDazed Exactly, Stuey. Neither him nor his parents!
