Just got off the phone with my Mum. She has covid.
I'm so pissed off that when she went to the doctor on Wednesday afternoon he didn't even suggest she tested! I ordered her a test kit as soon as I found out. It arrived today, and whaddya know? Positive! If there is one thing I fucking hate it's doctors who treat older people as though they're fussing over nothing.
@disk4mat She's been given some meds, she's taking good care of herself and we're watching her like hawks. I've made her promise that if she starts feeling worse she'll call for an ambulance and get straight to hospital.
Dang, Stuey, I’m sorry to hear it. I’m glad you had the sense to follow your wisdom & get her a test.
