Damn it
Someone who is like a brother had pancreatic cancer and was doing so well. He’s really been through it. His son committed suicide a few years ago, leaving him and his wife to look after the two young children.
He was doing well with this until now.

@stueytheround yeah. He is retired now but is a programmer. The kids bring him joy and they’ve grown up in a good environment but it tears me up to know they’re going through yet another extremely hard challenge. They’re good people. The son just couldn’t handle it anymore the daughter in law is awol. Grandparents raising young kids and having to deal with cancer at the same time. It makes me angry to see the unfairness when people are so good.
