Oven bake veggie cheeseburgers:

empty 1 pack of Paxo style stuffing mix into a large bowl and add whatever veggies, herbs and spices you fancy.
I used bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomato paste, chili flakes, smoked paprika, canned green lentils and canned red kidney beans.

Mix well then pour over just enough boiling water to cover.

Stir again then leave to cool.

Form into patties and bake on a non stick sheet until golden and crispy.

Add cheese and bake for another 10 mins.

Serve.

You could shallow fry these if you prefer but the texture will be a little different. I wouldn't recommend grilling them unless you enjoy the smell of burning as they fall through ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

@stueytheround

Not familiar with Paxo. Do you think pulverizing stuffing cubes in a blender or food processor would work as a substitution?

@waywardflf @stueytheround the doesn't have Stuffing cubes regularly in stores. Here are some photos that might help answer your questions

@Mauve_matelot @stueytheround Ah, so more like traditional stuffing mix. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the pictures!

@stueytheround You could use grill mats - you'd get the grill marks and they wouldn't fall thru at all.

that looks TASTYYY mmm ty!
are you running it through a food processor or anything first or just kind of roughly chopping everything @stueytheround

@Armchaircouch Roughly chopped. The beans and lentils went in whole for a nice bite.
