One of my favourite things about music is that ability is not limited by disability.
Think of
Stevie Wonder,Def Leppard's one-armed drummer Rick Allen, Ian Dury's partial paralysis from polio, or for that matter, Beethoven and his hearing loss.

Music is such a great leveller.
