@th3j35t3r
Can you translate for the digitally impaired please?
What is he claiming to have achieved?
What do the green words mean?
All I know it that I was awake and on coso when it "happened" between 0117 and 0217 gmt.
@InvaderGzim @th3j35t3r @stueytheround American hackers just don't think like him lmaoooo
@th3j35t3r So "Shock horror! 1337 hax0r accesses publicly available web page"?
@stueytheround @th3j35t3r Not so much of the 1337 and more of the delusional
@stueytheround @th3j35t3r oh god, no. Tell me, are we safe? Or did the elite hacker use the dreaded F12? <bursts out laughing as he can no longer hold it back>
@sfleetucker Know what I use f12 for? Adjusting my screen brightness! 🤣
@stueytheround @th3j35t3r He basically just opened Putty and pinged CoSo.
@Tail @stueytheround @th3j35t3r
You - or anyone - can literally open a connection via telnet (or, if feeling fancy, use Lynx/Links/etc) to 80 or 443 on any server & make a GET request for the index file, headers, etc. It's not magic - it's HTTP.
You don't even need Linux - you can do this from DOS 🙄
I fail to see what this person did beyond the above.
@stueytheround It means nothing, literally nothing lol - they are just requests to the COSO landing page done from a terminal. Same as if you went to it from your browser essentially.
