I was at work, 8th and Broadway. 13th floor, south facing windows. Saw it all. Close enough, when north tower began to crumble, I wondered if we were far enough back not to be hit by it, yet helplessly frozen in place as the dust cloud roared in our direction.

I’m not grieving today. I’m being re-traumatized.

I’d like to move on, but no, we’re taking a scalpel to the scar.

@Kitty62862 @stueytheround @Zebrano That’s something about “we will never forget” that the news cycle can’t seem to grasp. We literally will never forget without having to rewatch the footage over and over and over again. I’ll be avoiding all news today. It’s already hard enough.

I’ve been up all night. With iced coffee and dried cranberries, having lots of PTSD phenomena. It’s not just news. My Hulu page is all overloaded with documentaries, etc. Plus ads while I’m watching something else.
