@snyde21 that takes a bit of time tho. we have to grieve the children we thought we would have before we can accept the children we actually have. obvs, it's not our child's problem. but it is a process.
i loved books as a child. i thought my son would be an avid reader. my 1st gift was 'where the wild things are'. he never liked being read to. hated reading. i had to learn to accept that before i could see all the other awesome things about him. 🤔
