Every now and then I have a reaction and I did this past time but it wasn't long lived. My husband did too he was down longer. I'm in the robust immunity camp lol... I've never had a reaction to the flu vaccine. Prevnar13 sent me to the hospital with a reaction years ago..🤷‍♀️..idk we are all different.

I didn't get the rsv ...yet. or shingles. Admit to being Chickennnn...🐣.

I'm never without a mask indoors! 😷 except with family and I'm always like 👀..around my grands.

Two shingles shots are nothing compared to 4-6 mos with shingles. My mom said the breakout in her hair, cheek & eye was more painful than birthing five kids.

Get the shingles shots. I put them off for years because an immunization tech told how bad reactions to them can be, like people can be flat on their back for a week. It was NOTHING like that bad for me. Shingles is extremely painful, so I've heard.

@piquant00 @KazzyH @LnzyHou @slapout It certainly is, My mother had it. Caught it during a hospital stay, point of fact. The rash was everywhere on her body, and I do mean EVERYWHERE. Lasted weeks.

Adding on ..friend wh is a virtual hermit got shingles...down for 2months sores all over torso...not worth the gamble

Yes I've known plenty who have had shingles & it can be disabling.

Also my MIL had RSV and was sick for weeks.

I've thought about getting it many times and discussed it with my Dr.

My Asheville primary didn’t discuss. She ordered. Didn’t even know about Tdap until she told me I needed it. Done & done.

I have severe reactive asthma and will take all the protection I can get. My dr approved when I saw her several months later.

I got RSV vax last fall.

@LnzyHou @Notokay @KazzyH @damselfly59 @piquant00 @slapout My wife and I both did. Then they changed the rules....raised the age bar. I'm not old enough now. My wife gets a pass because of her compromised immune system. Other than that, we're up to date. Shingles, Covid, Flu, and Pneumo-Vax.

My doc said whooping cough is rampant because young parents ARE NOT vaccinating their babies. Our childhood vaccines have worn off. Likewise polio coming back.

We got the tdap. I had my titers taken for mmr I'm fine. They don't really know about the smallpox vaccine a lot of us had...

My kids didn't get the smallpox vax bc it had been all but eradicated. Now my son has an autoimmune disorder and is on immunosuppressants. Argh.

I’ve had Covid 3X. All from my son’s Philadelphia health food store where 1/2 the 25 employees don’t believe in vaccines or masks. He brings it home.

Last fall my son called me 11 minutes before I landed at his house. He had just tested positive.

Two days of driving. Wasn’t about to turn around & leave. Of course I got it.

Me too. Had a doc tell me he had patient who went blind and another patient who died from shingles.

It’s nothing to ignore.
