Just a hint for Niagara Frontier visitors, if you don't like crowds, I predict this pinned area to be less stressful. Along the lake might be okay, but the Falls I think will be insane for the event, although; it will have more things to do before and after. Other parts of Niagara County have the wineries, so take note of that.

Anything south towards Buffalo is close to major roads and is where I would steer clear for the event. We're good with snow, but ...

BTW:
Street closings, government office closings, and warnings to stock up on food, fuel, and medicine for a stretch from 4/5-4/9 is being announced for locals. It was noted all local lodging is sold out, but don't take my word on that.
