@sjvn In the 1970s that kind of patching was a standard requirement for computer science majors. (Along with FORTRAN 🙄.)
@ImagineThat I grew up with an oscilloscope probe in one hand and a soldiering iron in the other, but this kind of wiring still gives me the twitches.
@sjvn And well it should. Even when cabling is neat, it's a mess.
