With these live TV streaming services, you can finally cut the cable cord zd.net/3FLv3sR#ftag=COS-05-10a by @sjvn

My latest thoughts on picking the best live services.

@sjvn

a more nuanced response...

YTTV is "expensive" at $65 compared to some $30 live streaming service with less channels, but it's wayyyyyyyy cheaper than cable...

I paid over $100 for shitty cable with barely any channels...now I pay $65 for YTTV and it has every channel imaginable and unlimited DVR...it's a fantastic service

my shitty cable + shitty internet was over $200/mo

my YTTV + Gig fibre is $135/mo...and it's *awesome*

@sjvn I've seen all of those services except Fubo and I think that's an extremely fair review. Sling cheesed me off a while back by promising in an email not to raise prices and then raising prices. I found Philo and I'm still locked in at $20. Especially since Miss KoKo and I lost interest in sports, Philo plus various free channels on Roku give us more than we could ever watch.

@kohoso Thanks, If you're not into sports, Philo's great.
